• EVA Extravehicular Activity. Astronauts working outside their vehicle while in a space suit. Also known as “spacewalk” when in microgravity or “moonwalk” when on the surface of the moon.
• MCC Mission Control Center. There are many mission control centers. The designation MCC-H means the MCC in Houston, Texas, and is the center of human spaceflight for NASA. MCC-M refers to Moscow, which is the center of Russian operations.
